We all know how our consumer habits can be damaging to the environment. But these days, making sustainable choices can be overwhelming. Even for us as an ethical web shop.
This is one of the major reasons we’ve decided to make this blog.
The best way to learn is to teach each other. We’re spending hours on end each week researching sustainability, ethical fashion, etc., so why not share this research with you savvy heads, help raise ethical awareness in the industry and learn even more ourselves in the process by opening up a two-way communication channel while partnering up with some of the coolest eco-conscious companies out there to give us all the ultimate low-down on how to human in a world of consumer chaos?
This also means that we won’t be accepting any sponsorship proposals – all of our recommendations come from thorough research done by yours truly. If you have any sweet tips, let us know, so we can pass on the good karma.
We hope you find our blog both interesting and useful. Please leave a comment if you have any questions, remarks or suggestions – we’d love to hear from you.
In the mean time, here's a picture of Helle in Bali, contemplating life and love whilst drinking homemade kopi luwak, which is Indonesian coffee made from beans digested by a civet. Our (almost certainly insane) tour driver, Made, praised this famous and expensive "cat-poo-chino" for its flavor and texture, and didn't hesitate for a second when we offered to buy him a cup of this delicious defecated delicacy. Our pleasure, Made, our pleasure.
